Dear Performers of any and every kind,
You are on a stage.
Wear something decent.
Wear something flattering.
We all have to look at you.
Don’t make it uncomfortable. Don’t be off-putting. Make your mother proud.
We know you’re an artist. We know you’re a rock star. We know you’re a funny comedian. We know you’re special and different and you “don’t care what other people think.” Don’t be a slob. Respect yourself.
You can still be yourself while looking presentable.
